A 14-inch, stainless steel drum sieve for manually sifting flour and other ingredients

The Winco SIV-14 is a round, stainless steel drum sieve that's 14 inches in diameter, and 3 inches deep. It has #20 mesh. This sieve is simply used by placing the flour in the sieve, and drumming the side.

Sifting flour is a crucial step for some chefs who want to aerate their flour and have it easier to mix into other combined ingredients. Flour, depending on how it's stored, can form clumps easily -- and not just flour, but a variety of other ingredients like cocao powder, sugar, etc. Sifiting helps restore said ingredients to their original state of being non-clumped.
