Our journey began in the 1940s, when Mike Cesario immigrated from Italy to Argentina, helping operate a family-owned grocery business rooted in hard work, service, and community. In the 1970s, Mike later immigrated to Canada, carrying those same values forward.
That foundation was strengthened when Mike's son, Paul Cesario, entered the hospitality industry. Paul went on to build and operate one of Canada's largest restaurant equipment suppliers to national chains, leading the business for over 37 years. Specializing in stainless steel manufacturing and chain development, Paul helped shape kitchens across the country — setting a standard for quality, reliability, and execution.
In 2013, Paul's son JP Cesario founded Edge Food Equipment, carrying forward three generations of experience with a modern vision: to create the most complete hospitality food equipment partner in the industry.
Raised around job sites, shop floors, and restaurant openings, JP learned firsthand that success in this industry isn't just about equipment — it's about people, precision, and follow-through.
