Bain marie pots for warming soups, stews, and more

Omcan's series of bain marie pots are available in 7 different capacities, ranging from 1.25 to 12 quarts. They feature a stainless steel construction and a thickness of 0.8 mm. The purpose of bain marie pots is to preserve the heat of soups, broths, and stews. Corresponding covers are also available.

What distinguishes them from traditional steam pans insets is that bain marie pots are warmed using water opposed to steam. Steam pans, as their name implies, usually have a smaller amount of water under them that turns into steam and warms its contents whereas bain maries are surrounded by a deeper quantity of hot water.
