The KSBC1B0 series has simpler controls -- speed options are high, medium, and low, and it has a variable timer from 5 - 10 seconds. It's also known for being able to blend a margarita in 22 seconds. The KSBC2F1 series has a variable speed of 1,000 to 21,000 RPM, which is a more precise speed control. Furthermore, the KSBC2F1 series offers a programmable coulis cycle that can easily blend 1000 grams of fluid into coulis in seconds (coulis is a thin vegetable puree typically used in sauces).
