Afinox's Infinity Start 8 is a blast chiller and freezer with a 9-inch touch control system which allows you to search through hundreds of programs for whatever your cooling needs. It has a capacity of 8x 1/1 pans. The blast freezing capacity is 55 pounds, (can go from 194° Fahrenheit to -0.4° Fahrenheit in 4 hours) and the blast chilling capacity is 77 pounds, (can go from 194° F to 37° F in 90 minutes.)

The internal capacity is 6.7 cubic feet. There are 7 cycles including shock freeze, thaw, and of course, blast chill. These can be customized as automatic or manual. The chiller has a stainless steel construction.

Blast chillers are becoming a staple in Canadian kitchens to stop food waste and improve efficiency. The purpose of a blast chiller is to quickly cool hot products to a safe holding temperature. As a result, their shelf live will be greatly extended.
