Fully enclosed actuators prevent mixing ingredients from entering the housing. Each unit is equipped with two agitators per spindle: one solid agitator for mixing hard ice cream and aerating for increased yield, and a butterfly agitator for softer ice cream and mix-ins. The design allows for increased cup clearance, making it easy to slide cups into place without tilting. It also features fully automatic, cup-activated, one-handed START/STOP functionality and a 10-minute timer.
